World of Warcraft - Private Server

Me and Daniche started playing WoW on a czech private server, "Spermik". Yes, the name is very weird. And the logo is even worse...

Anyway, the server is good. It has 1x blizzlike rates - meaning all leveling, honor gaining and loot has the same chance and amount given as it has in the real game - and pretty much every quest works. The game version is 3.3.5a, WOTLK. So, the level cap is 80 and not 85 because the server hasn't reached Cataclysm yet.

To play, you have to edit your realmlist. Either find a vid on how to on YouTube or ask here in this thread and I will explain.

I used to play on Eternal WoW. But, I never came across the Realmlist, how does It even work and what does the realmlist do?

The realmlist is a notepad where the realmlist is listed. Depending on the realmlist, the game will connect to different servers. If you put in Spermik's realmlist for example, it will connect to Spermik's game server. If you type in an invalid realmlist, you won't connect at all. It's in: World of Warcraft/Data/EnUS or EnGB/Realmlist.wtf

I just forgot to say this, every time I download WoW WOFLK, it always won't let me play it and says that it needs to be patched and then the version changes to Cata. WTF is wrong with this? And I downloaded this version you linked before too. 2 times. And nothing....

You can't start the game from through the launcher. You go to the WoW folder and start "Wow.exe". NOT Launcher.exe. And if you accidently run launcher, just close it before it updates.

I actually think I did this. But, I don't know. Will try and download again when I finish exams. If there is still a problem, I will tell you.
