Element: Random or selectable

Random or selectable ? There are pros n cons for both.

Pros:
- balance out element users in game
Cons:
- No real chance for user to choose and some people would like to be Sasugay or Kisame

I'd go with Random just to make it spicier and more Naruto like .

Define the selection. Will you know of your element as soon as you start playing? If that would be the case, people could just remake characters till they get what they want.

Selection as in getting to choose for yourself between all 5 of them. Ofc you would be aware of the one you'd have even if it were random.

I'd choose random cause you have to balance out the elements in-game. Imagine if 80% was Fire and 20% the rest of the elements. It would be unfair even if Elements have weaknesses you'd still get hammered fighting 5 Fire Elements being Water type.

Soo.. the game would have to even it out? Depending on the rest of the community, you get the element least chosen? I dunno..

Like I said there are pros and cons to it. But I guess that would be easily managed with scripting . Like 1st user gets Fire, 2nd user Gets Water, 3rd gets Lightining, 4th gets Earth and so on.

Then enough remakes would give you the desired element. And if one who's gotten the fire element removes his character? If you go by 1st gets water, 2nd gets earth etc, one can remove his char and still inbalance the elements.

If they allowed us to do that that is. For that, we could have a max. of 2 or 3 chars. Or we could just have a survey to see what type of person are you and with that grant the Element.

Using a survey is just stupid. People would choose the right questions for their elements and voila; you select your own element.

I think that every village should have a % chance of getting a certain element. Depending on village, the chances of getting various element are either reduced or increased. And only three characters should be createable each hour to prevent potential dickfucks from "cheating". Although if one is patient, "cheating" is possible.

And you could do like them, have multiple questions, make them in random order, and not make em all show up each time.

WRONG! if a ninja can use 3 elements at any point in time, the ninja can use those if the ninja can learn to master them at any point in time.

Kakashi explained so nicely that all chacras have atleast one affinity, usually 2. And that some jonin discover more affinities.

But i don't believe this logic is right, neither is yours. You can't say, ninjas have "x amount of elements and gain x amount then." Beacuse guess what..
