Update #28

yo,
long time.
I guess there has been a lot of speculation even after we went quiet for a while, don't be alarmed, we are still very alive. Things did go very slow for a while, but now things are speeding up again. I'm doing a 2 year game design degree at a nearby college now ^_^ so i'm learning new things and it is also motivating me a lot more to work on SWO.
A lot of happened since we last updated. Now we have been working on the new Dx11 engine and we are pretty much done. Only small amount of work to go on it, but Map editor is ready to go and so is a whole lot more stuff.
As for work towards my way, I have the character ready to go, and I'm also starting work on the proper map now that the Map editor has just been completed and is ready for use once again.
If we had continued with our other engine from before we would be far into the game by now, though we did decide to change to Dx11 so we had to almost start again. But now we are pretty much where we were before, sept for some client work with the character and stuff lol.
There are probably a lot of questions on people minds like "what about the website?" and other stuff but honestly we aren't worried about anything right now. We just want to get map on the way, and start slowly building the client up again. This time though we are taking smaller steps and getting things right so we don't work backwards. I'm not too sure when to expect the next update but it will be less then a month away ^_^ i'll bring out some map work to show or something, or just talk about what we are doing.
I can't commit to weekly updates, a least not now in this stage. Not enough content gets created as of now to weekly update, just same old background stuff lol.

maybe lol I'm doing it through SAE qantm, its an international college so i'll get international recognition. a normal degree here through a normal uni would get no where after i finish lol

My college isn't international but i joined IGDA so im classed as a game developer world wide ;D
